Dear 2017:
A New Year always has something magical, is wrapped in mystery and comes full of surprises. A year ago while eating my grapes and making wishes to the rhythm of the twelve bells, I could not even imagine what was waiting for me. You had the power to change a whole life and now that you are coming to an end, I would like to dedicate a few words to you.
2017, you were a difficult year, but spectacular. You made me grow, enjoy, laugh, cry, doubt, love and cling to life like never before. You filled me with love, positive thoughts and good vibes. You allowed me to value the greatness of my partner, family and friends, and you even introduced me to many other wonderful people. You gave me another opportunity to do well, to do better and keep trying.
I know that there will always be different challenges, problems and adverse circumstances that can discourage us, but I also know that if we make happiness the way and not the goal, we will never stop widening our lives.
There is nothing more beautiful than to start another year being healthy, free and surrounded by those who make our hearts happy. Definitely, 2018 will be a good year to keep living and I am very excited to continue being part of this wonderful and chaotic world, because in the end, there is nothing better than living and sharing with our loved ones.
Let's make 2018 a good year and not let our urges go away. It is true that no one knows how much time we've got, so let's not leave our dreams in the hands of fate and enjoy what makes us happy.
I want you to live, to really live, and for 2018 to be even better.
