Cancer is a bomb that explodes unexpectedly, makes a lot of destruction and changes everything forever. After a cancer diagnosis, your life is not same again, you are not the same again. Such a potentially deadly disease has an effect of metamorphosis, and in a short time we can change so much that we'll reach the point of not recognizing ourselves until we find us again.
The patient experiences changes inside and out. All our souls are torn and many lose their hair, eyebrows and eyelashes in the process or are left with war scars. However, when you survive, you realize that everything you "lost" has been worth it when you can enjoy a new day.
We all know that cancer does not discriminate. You are never too young or too old, too poor or too rich to have cancer. This year I learned by force that no one is exempt from a diagnosis like this and that the only thing we can do is try to prevent it and learn to listen to what our body wants to tell us.
