October is the Pink Month
Actualizado: 8 jul 2020
Cancer is a bomb that explodes unexpectedly, makes a lot of destruction and changes everything forever. After a cancer diagnosis, your life is not same again, you are not the same again. Such a potentially deadly disease has an effect of metamorphosis, and in a short time we can change so much that we'll reach the point of not recognizing ourselves until we find us again.
The patient experiences changes inside and out. All our souls are torn and many lose their hair, eyebrows and eyelashes in the process or are left with war scars. However, when you survive, you realize that everything you "lost" has been worth it when you can enjoy a new day.
We all know that cancer does not discriminate. You are never too young or too old, too poor or too rich to have cancer. This year I learned by force that no one is exempt from a diagnosis like this and that the only thing we can do is try to prevent it and learn to listen to what our body wants to tell us.
October is the pink month. The month of breast cancer awareness and for this reason, I want to introduce you to Jennifer Hodson, an insta-friend who survived breast cancer at 29 years old. You can read her inspiring story here and know what it meant for her to lose her beautiful hair.
For stories like those of Jen, my aunt Loli and many others, today I want to show you a product originally formulated for patients who have undergone chemotherapy to help them prevent hair loss from their eyebrows during treatment.
Essential Eyebrows Solution (EES) is a clinically researched formula that addresses thinning due to over-tweezing, aging and/or medical treatments. EES nourishes, conditions and revitalizes eyebrow hair, and is ideal for those looking to enhance eyebrow thickness and fullness.
In support of Breast Cancer Awareness Month, EES is offering 20% off of your first purchase with the Promo Code: EES20SOCIAL.
Plus, in October EES will donate 10% of all proceeds to Look Good Feel Better Foundation, an organization with the mission of helping cancer patients improve their self-image and appearance because it is important to remember that even if we lose our hair or have huge scars, we do not stop being beautiful.
I'm happy to tell you that I've already started using it and I'm excited to see the results in 90 days.
There are only a few days left in October but we can still help! Let's help spread the hope among all of us who have walked the cancer path and start using your EES or give it to someone who needs it.
